Cascade Lake on the shores of Tamarack Resort
Cascade Lake is located on the North Fork of the Payette River in Idaho in the Boise National Forest. It is the fourth largest lake or reservoir in the state. The lake contains perch, trout, Smallmouth bass, Kokanee, and Coho salmon for anglers and there is a winter ice fishing season.
Whether you are cruising with family in pontoon boats or skimming along in a Hobie Cat, the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. And, while you’re on the water, take a quiet pass by the shoreline where you may see osprey, bald eagles, sand hill cranes, white pelicans, or trumpeter swans.
